The Saluki men's basketball team will be busy between now and the start of the second semester. Upcoming home games at the SIU Arena and televised road games are:
- At St. Louis University, at 6:05 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15. The game is being televised on ESPNU.
- At home against Western Kentucky, at 2:05 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22. Tickets in the upper bowl are $12 for adults, and $8 for children; $13 in the Big Dog section. Lower level seating is sold out.
- At home against Butler, at 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28. Tickets in the upper bowl are $12 for adults, and $8 for children; $13 in the Big Dog section. Lower level seating is sold out. The game is being televised on ESPNU.
- At home in the Missouri Valley Conference opener against Missouri State, at 2:05 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30. Tickets in the upper bowl are $12 for adults, and $8 for children; $13 in the Big Dog section. Lower level seating is sold out. The game is being televised on the MVC Television Network.
- At Illinois State, at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5. The game is being televised on WSIU-TV.
- At home against Bradley, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8. Tickets in the upper bowl are $12 for adults, and $8 for children; $13 in the Big Dog section. Lower level seating is sold out. The game is being televised on ESPNU.

Some of the best high school boy's basketball in the region will be showcased during the 44th annual Carbondale Community High School Holiday Tournament,, Thursday, Dec. 27, through Saturday, Dec. 29. The Dec. 27 games are at the SIU Arena; games on Dec. 28-29 are at the high school.
