Commencement ceremonies are Dec. 16

SIUC's fall commencement ceremonies are set for at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the SIU Arena.

More than 2,000 students will walk across the stage, including 1,771 candidates for undergraduate degrees, eight candidates for law degrees, 259 candidates for master's degrees and 41 doctoral candidates.

The morning ceremony will recognize candidates from the Graduate School, School of Law and the colleges of science, liberal arts, and mass communications and media arts.

The afternoon ceremony will recognize candidates from the agricultural sciences, applied sciences and arts, business and administration, education and human services, and engineering colleges.
