The Egyptian Suzuki School winter recital featuring piano and string recitals begins at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Old Baptist Foundation Recital Hall. Donations are accepted at the door for the scholarship fund.

A Concert Choir with Choral Union and the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra is at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at Shryock Auditorium. Admission is $4 for the general public and $2 for students, senior citizens 60 and older, and children 15 and younger.

The Southern Illinois Children's Choir performs at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at Shryock Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for students.
