Saluki Finals Finish volunteers neededWith 2007 fall semester finals just two weeks away, it's time for the ninth annual Saluki Finals Finish, Sunday, Dec. 9, through Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Student Recreation Center. The facility will be open late for students to study, work out or just relax. Free food and beverages are served nightly by SIUC faculty and staff volunteers. Faculty and staff volunteers are needed each night to work any one of three, two-hour shifts. Shifts are 6 to 8 p.m., 8 to 10 p.m., and 10 p.m. to midnight. Volunteers receive a free T-shirt. Faculty may also have study sessions for their classes in the Student Recreation Center from 6 p.m. to midnight. Volunteers may register, or for more information, contact Recreational Sports and Services Coordinator Gary D. Tisdale at 618/453-1225. |
