Art student studio walk-through is Friday

Graduate students and faculty in the School of Art and Design are hosting the annual Graduate School studio walk-through, Friday, Oct. 21.

The open studio event gives SIUC administration, faculty, staff and students the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the wide range of creative activity and excellence sustained by the nationally recognized graduate program.

School of Art and Design faculty, graduates and guests will move from studio building to studio building to see the works on display. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be served at each venue, followed by a potluck cookout at the end.

The schedule is:

• 3:30 p.m. -- Foundry
• 4:15 p.m. -- Pulliam Hall
• 5 p.m. -- Glass House/Metals House
• 5:45 p.m. -- Glove Factory
• 6:30 p.m. -- Cookout
