Open House is MondayThe University is holding its next open house for prospective students Monday, Oct. 10, at the Student Center. The open house offers everyone on campus one of the many opportunities to help with recruitment and retention. More than 400 prospective students and another 800 guests are expected to attend, according to undergraduate admissions special events coordinator Angie Royal. At the conclusion of regular open house activities at 1 p.m., departments have the option to host visitors at their facility for a departmental showcase. The showcase gives departments the opportunity to spend time to highlight programs and tour facilities. The departmental showcases are scheduled to depart no earlier than 1 p.m. Please let undergraduate admissions know if tours are scheduled for later than 1 p.m., so prospective students and families are provided the information upon check-in. For more information or a reservation/departmental tour form contact Royal at 618/453-2953.
