Calendar training session is FridaySlots remain available for the remaining training session for University employees to learn how to post events and activities to the electronic public events calendar. The session is from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, Sept. 30. The calendar is a Web-based system for the posting of University and University-related activities on a publicly accessible Internet Web site. Media & Communication Resources relies on the participation of individual University departments to post their own events. Each unit should have one individual authorized by the department head to post events to the calendar; that individual must complete the calendar training. It's a collaborative project designed to provide a one-stop link for public events on campus. Robert Cerchio, director of Shryock Auditorium, will lead the training session. To reserve a seat, e-mail Bonnie Marx in Media & Communication Resources. Please indicate your first and second choices for dates. The training sessions will be held in the AIS computer lab in the Northwest Annex.
