There was a large increase in the number of University faculty/staff who took advantage of a payroll deduction option for vehicle registrations, according to Brian B. Mager, parking division director. A total of 1,036 employees utilized the option this year, compared with 637 employees a year ago — the first year the option was offered. Each vehicle that is anticipated to be used to park on campus must be registered with the parking division. Vehicle registration and staff ID's — along with a completed parking decal registration form — are required along with payment. Parking decal prices are based upon an employee's salary level. The 2007-2008 parking decal prices, along with vehicle registration forms and other electronic downloadable forms are available via the Department of Public Safety's Parking Division. For more information, contact SIUC's parking division at 618/453-5369.
