Coming eventsThe ninth annual Welcome Back Picnic -- part of Latino Heritage Month -- begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Bucky's Haven, next to the campus boat docks. Admission is free. The SIUC women's volleyball team hosts the 26th annual Saluki Invitational, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-10, at Davies Gym. The Salukis play the University of Missouri-Kansas City at 7 p.m. Friday, and Arkansas State at 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Saluki football team opens its 2005 home schedule at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, when it hosts Union College at McAndrew Stadium.
