Fliers RowAuthor, humorist and radio personality Garrison Keillor presents a one-hour lecture and book signing at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, at Shryock Auditorium. Keillor is founder of the radio program, "A Prairie Home Companion." Tickets are $36, and available at several locations including the SIU Ticket Office, Student Center Central Ticket Office, and ticketmaster, or by calling 866/646-8849. A golf scramble to raise scholarship funds for the Paralegal Studies program is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, at Union County Country Club in Anna. Registration forms are available, and for more information, contact 618/453-1230. Spotlight publishes PDF's of fliers that campus departments previously distributed through campus mail. Electronically sending fliers is a suggestion many across campus submitted to the Agility and Efficiency Task Force. PDF submissions should be forwarded to Pete Rosenbery at prosen@siu.edu and siucnews@siu.edu. The deadline for submission is Monday at noon for distribution in that week's Spotlight. University policy does not allow fliers to be posted on buildings, overpasses, light poles, trees and windows. Fliers posted in these locations will be removed, and individuals (and groups) responsible will be charged for cleanup.
