Fall employee workshops/seminars setSIUC's Center for University Workforce Learning and Development has finalized the Fall 2007 workshop/seminar schedule. Reservations may be made through the workforce learning and development Web site. Once you and your manager choose the programs you will benefit most from attending, select the Reserve button and you will immediately be taken to the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) Web site for registration. Please follow the commands on this site to reserve your spot in your chosen course(s). There are no charges for these programs and you are not required to take leave to participate. These employee development programs are sponsored and presented by the University to improve the overall quality of campus while investing in the individuals who make it great. The first two classes are dealing with telephone etiquette. The "Telephone Etiquette Handbook - Customer Service Begins Here," is available through Information Technology. The guide is a great resource for everyone and especially helpful when training new employees including student workers. For more information on the workshops/seminars, contact Mary Anne Osborne, workforce learning and development education coordinator, at 618/453-1393.
