One of the nation's favorite musicals and an acoustic rock concert are among events on campus this week.

The Sunset Concert featuring Shevy Smith starts at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 7, at Turley Park in Carbondale. The performance is the fourth of seven shows in this 27th annual free outdoor summer concert series.

“My Fair Lady,” is being presented as part of the McLeod Summer Playhouse series. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 8 and July 9, at McLeod Theater. The production can also be seen at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 14-16. A 2 p.m., matinee is set for Sunday, July 17.

The summer playhouse is co-produced by the McLeod Theater and Carbondale Community Arts. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. For ticket reservations, call the McLeod Theater box office at 618/453-3001.
