Internal associate provost search under wayProvost and Vice Chancellor John M. Dunn is conducting an internal search to fill the position of associate provost for academic affairs. The position is available July 1. Review of applications will begin on May 31 and continue until the position is filled. The associate provost has primary responsibility for assisting Dunn in the oversight and management of academic and curriculum matters in a variety of areas, including:
Applicants should have a doctorate or appropriate terminal degree; credentials in teaching, scholarship/research/creative activity, and service consistent with the expectations of a professor at a four-year, research-extensive university; and at least departmental/program experience with management of undergraduate and graduate programs. Previous academic administrative experience is preferred. Those interested should submit a letter of interest, current curriculum vitae and the names and contact information of at least three references.
