Another project going up -- Chancellor Walter V. Wendler talks of the University's continued role in leading economic development at May 6 ceremonies breaking ground for a 20,000-square-foot multi-tenant building in the Southern Illinois Research Park. The one-story, $2.8 million structure is going up near the Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center, and will accommodate between 12 and 15 firms. Construction is expected to take 15 months.
