'Friends of WSIU' auction is June 2
'WSIU Public Broadcasting is hosting its 18th Annual "Friends of WSIU" auction on Saturday, June 2, at the SIUC Student Center Ballrooms.
The 2007 event is the annual gala fund-raiser in support of WSIU Public Broadcasting. The event begins at 6 p.m.
The evening includes a dinner buffet.
Musicians led by Ivas John will entertain as guests browse hundreds of items during two silent auction rounds, and will end the evening with music for dancing. Two spirited live auction sets will inspire bids on vacation getaways, golf packages, fine jewelry and art, sports memorabilia, event tickets, and much more.
Individual tickets may be purchased for $60 per person, of which $30 is considered a charitable donation, or $480 for a table of eight. To make your reservations, contact Laura Cobin at 453-4287.
