Interim Chancellor John M. Dunn has announced the official schedule of holidays to be recognized for the 2008 fiscal year, which begins July 1. The listing shows the holiday date, holiday name, day of week the holiday falls on, and explanation for the holiday.
- July 4, 2007 — Independence Day; Wednesday, legal holiday.
- September 3, 2007 — Labor Day; Monday, legal holiday.
- November 22, 2007 — Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, legal holiday.
- November 23, 2007 — Thanksgiving Friday, Friday, designated holiday.
- December 24, 2007 — Christmas Holiday, Monday, designated holiday.
- December 25, 2007 — Christmas Day, Tuesday, legal holiday.
