SIUC police formulate service surveyThe SIUC Department of Public Safety wants your input. University police have formulated a community customer survey to give the public an opportunity to provide feedback about their service experience with the department. The survey also gives respondents a chance to comment about safety issues or concerns. SIUC Public Safety Director Todd D. Sigler said the survey will be utilized in gauging the level of service goals and objectives to the community that are being met. The survey — which can be completed anonymously — may be mailed to the Department of Public Safety, Mailcode 6713, 705A S. Washington St. Carbondale, 62901, or faxed to 618/453-4567. "As the Department of Public Safety, when you propose to be a department that is interested in community policing, you have to be able to communicate with members of the public," Sigler said. "This is another form of communicating with your constituency." - Pete Rosenbery |
