Civil Service Council yard sale April 30The Civil Service Council's annual spring yard and craft sale is set for Saturday, April 30. Shoppers will be able to browse for treasures and trinkets from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Arena parking lot adjacent to the round parking lot. Parking will not be allowed in the circular lot without prior consent. Proceeds go to the Civil Service Education Assistance Fund, as a result, no refunds will be given. The cost to sellers for a single space (18 feet wide by 18 feet deep) is $20. The cost for a double space (36 feet wide by 18 feet deep) is $30. Payment is due by 4 p.m., April 27. Sellers renting space on the day of the sale will pay an additional $5. The sale of food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition and hazardous materials is prohibited. No amplification of any type, including microphones, is allowed. The rain date is May 1.
