| No doubts -- The Saluki men's basketball team persevered throughout the 2005-2006 season and left no question it will make a fifth straight appearance in the NCAA men's basketball tournament after dismantling Bradley, 59-46, in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title game Sunday in St. Louis. |

Take that! -- Sophomore forward and all-MVC tournament selection Matt Shaw slams home two of his 14 points Sunday. Shaw also had eight rebounds, four assists and three steals against the Braves. |

| That familiar feeling -- Returning to the NCAA tournament isn't just familiar for Chris Lowery, in his second-year as the Saluki's head coach, but as a Saluki standout, Lowery twice helped lead the Salukis to conference tournament titles and the automatic NCAA tourney berth. He is the first person in league history to win tourney titles as both a player and coach. |
