Student Center to host Easter BuffetCome in out of the cold and welcome spring at the SIUC Student Center's 2008 Easter Buffet. Set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, in the Student Center Ballrooms, the buffet features Mandarin orange and red onion salad, fruit floret salad and balsamic pasta salad along with entrees of glazed carved ham and baron of beef. The menu also will include candied sweet potatoes with pecan butter, parsley buttered steamed red potatoes, cardinal green beans, buttered corn and vegetable medley as well as carrot, chocolate and lemon cakes and a variety of cheesecakes. Assorted dinner rolls, iced tea and coffee are included. Tickets are on sale now at the central ticket office located on the second floor of the Student Center between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or by calling 618/453-3478 during those hours. Purchased in advance, tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for SIUC students and senior citizens and $6 for children ages 5-10. At the door, tickets are $1 more per person.
