Cellular telephone discounts available

Among the many benefits available through the University’s Employee Discount program is one involving cellular telephones.

Verizon Wireless offers employees an 18 percent discount on all current price plans $35 access or greater, plus a 25 percent discount on accessories. The exclusive offer is through the Internet and Verizon’s direct sales representative in the area only.

First Cellular is offering free activation for SIUC employees and emerita, and they can now receive the unlimited plan at the $34.99 monthly rate. There is also a $5 savings on the unlimited plus plan.
