A/P Staff Council seats available

The Administrative/Professional Staff Council is accepting nominations and self-nominations to fill four seats in May.

There are vacancies for two seats from Academic Affairs, one seat from the School of Medicine and one from Student Affairs.

To make a nomination, submit a brief biographical sketch of the prospective candidate, including their length of employment at SIUC and any University and/or community service. The biographical sketch should be no more than a paragraph.

A/P staff should have received nomination forms in their mailboxes last week. Return the nomination form to A/P Elections, Professional Constituencies Office, Woody Hall, C-114, Mailcode 4712.

The deadline for submitting nominations is 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 28.

Elections will be conducted in late March, and results ratified by the council at its April 20th meeting.
