Two associate provost finalists to visit SIUC

A pair of candidates, each seeking to be the next permanent associate provost of academic affairs at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, will visit campus in the coming weeks.

Andrew T. Sustich, a professor of physics and currently associate vice-chancellor for research and technology transfer at Arkansas State University will visit Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 16 and 17.

Christopher I. Chalokwu, professor of physical science, and former vice president for academic affairs at Saint Xavier University in Chicago visits on Monday and Tuesday, March 7 and 8.

They will tour the University, meet with various constituency groups and give public presentations at times and dates to be announced later.

Robert A. Jensen, professor of psychology, has been serving as interim associate provost since August 2003.
