Gretchen Wilson tickets go on sale Saturday

The SIU Arena will hold a random number distribution on Saturday, Feb. 11, for people interested in buying tickets for the March 26 Gretchen Wilson concert.

Sequentially numbered cards, one per customer, will be available at the Arena box office beginning at 7 a.m. Customers must be 12 years or older and able to complete a transaction to receive a card. The cards do not guarantee tickets, only a place in line, and will be honored only at the Arena box office.

At 9:30 a.m., a customer will randomly select the starting number. The customer holding the card that matches the number drawn will be first in line. For example, if numbers one-100 are issued and the number 10 is drawn, the line will start with 10, then, 11, 12, 13 through 100, then numbers one through nine. Once the starting number is announced, the line will shift accordingly.
