Discounts available on new letterhead and logo

Departments on campus may now place orders with Printing & Duplicating for letterhead, envelopes and business cards using the new SIUC logo. A new design has been created to comply with changing U.S. Postal regulations and allows individuals to choose between vertical and horizontal styles of business cards. Departments will need 911 addresses to use on the letterhead and envelopes and will want to make sure order forms indicate when they need new supplies. Details are available on Printing & Duplicating Services' Web site listed below.

In order to ensure quality and a standard identity and to keep costs lower, stationery, letterhead and business cards must be purchased at Printing & Duplicating. The University will phase in the design over the next six months and departments are encouraged to place group orders early. In order to receive the discount; departments must recycle any old materials through Printing & Duplicating Services when the new ones are delivered or picked up. Details are available at the time of order.

Orders received by April 30, 2005, will receive a 20 percent discount. Orders received between May 1 and July 31, 2005, will receive a 10 percent discount. Departments may receive the discount only on the quantity they would expect to use in a year. The discount program was extended over two fiscal years to assist departments in planning, and is a result of input and suggestions from various groups including the Deans' Council. (Please note that discounts will not be available on special orders that require Printing & Duplicating Services to use an outside vendor.)

Please go to Printing & Duplicating Services for additional help and instructions and to access the electronic order form.

The Office of the Chancellor and Printing & Duplicating, part of the Office of Administration, are jointly funding the discount program.

Please note: The current design does not incorporate secondary logos. Decisions on how secondary logos will be used on letterhead are pending.
