SIUC financial aid office sponsoring events

February is Financial Aid Awareness Month in Illinois, and SIUC's financial aid office is sponsoring several outreach activities.

• Information tables -- Feb. 9 and 16, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Student Center across from the Hall of Fame room. Students will have the opportunity to speak with a financial aid adviser about their financial aid package and obtain answers to any questions about the application process for 2006-07.
• Financial aid workshop --- Feb. 13, 7-9 p.m. in Parkinson Auditorium, room 124. SIUC students can learn about the future of financial aid, scholarships and the 2006-07 application process.
• Financial aid workshop -- Feb. 21, 6-7 p.m., Student Health Center. Financial aid personnel will provide information and answer questions about the FAFSA application, financial aid opportunities, scholarships and other topics. High school seniors and transfer students should find this workshop informative.
