Working to resolve disputes -- Lynn M. Malley, alternative dispute resolution coordinator and visiting clinical assistant professor at the SIUC law school, leads a discussion on basic mediation skills during a three-day training seminar, Jan. 12-14, at the law school. Law school students and community residents participated in the seminar. Alternative dispute resolution is used significantly in civil cases, including medical malpractice cases and also within the federal court system.
